'Redlaw' is an imagined sequel/spin-off to Charles Dickens' novel, 'The Haunted Man and the Ghost's Bargain'.

The tale features characters from the original, who have all been conceptually designed, as well as new characters to enhance the story and emphasise 'Redlaw's Dickensian and Victorian themes.

One of the characters being 'Spring-heeled Jack', a popular Victorian folklore character, who was rumoured to haunt and antagonise poverty-stricken areas of Victorian London.

While designing for 'Redlaw', I drew up rough sketches of the storyline in order to imagine the characters and their personalities.

I also illustrated a handful of scenes from the story to portray a visual idea of where parts of the story are set. These scenes include the graveyard and Spring-heel's dungeon.
